SPICY!

That's the word that best describes how I'm feeling today.

I got dragged into a hot yoga class last night and it is INTENSE!

I felt like a finely-glazed ham in the oven... baking at 165 degrees for 90 minutes.  And my flexibility was surprisingly good for what I was expecting.  Don't get me wrong, it's all relative compared to the Chinese gymnasts that were Jean-Claude Van Dam-ing their way through the class.

I probably could've filled up 3 one-gallon jugs full of sweat.

I'm feeling A LOT better these days.

I feel like I have a purpose in life -- instead of sucking the life out of peoples' souls that I encounter.

I'm probably going to throw together a few t-shirts to sell for charity -- so if you have any ideas (offbeat or not) please let me know.

My sister wanted me to suggest the tee-shirts to you as well...not sure what the slogan or logo should be, but she and her coffee company would probably order 5 or so...plus I would buy a couple...

      Hey, i had a sick idea for a T-Shirt.

Have a picture of a bear with sweat bands on his head and wrists (you know the red white and blue ones) with a walkman and a t-shirt on that reads "Boston Or Bust" Then you could have the site name and maybe a short caption of what you're about. I dunno, i just though of that when tshirts was mentioned. I'll try to make something in photoshop, if i come up with something, i'll email it to you stat.

What do they look like? (your t-shirt)
Maybe I'm gonna buy one and can ask my visitors on my webpage to support you.

P.S. Viral marketing is very good on internet to sell stuff.

You Geaux Boy. I had absolutely no business looking at the e-mail that sent me to your blog. But I did. Absolutely awe inspiring. Congratulations for not quiting!

Just curious. How did you qualify for the Boston Marathon? It is my understanding that you must qualify for that race with a time based on your age and sex.

Congrats!! I run the Boston Marathon as a bandit (unofficial runner) every year and it never gets old. It's a tremendous accomplishment and you should be proud! As for those who say unofficial runners steal resources from those who are registered, I have this to say: if you "official runners" get to the water stops after us bandits, maybe it's you who don't belong out there.

Sorry Mark, but I found your comment a bit thoughtless. So you, a 'bandit' feel justified if a registered marathon runner who runs slower than the bandits somehow deserves to not get water - that bandits may have taken?

Huh? Some of those 20,000+ who registered are obviously not the fastest - but have their rights too. What they pay to enter is towards the supply of water etc.

By the way, in the meantime many of us have learned a lot about how the marathons operate and what a bandit is.

Jacob ran on his own and had friends supply his needs. Unlike YOU he didn't steal from the marathon organization.

Now that I've learned - thru Jacob's experience - what a marathon 'bandit' really is/does - I wonder, are you going to step up your level to Jacob's and be an independant runner next time too???

Jacob's got scruples. Do you? Or are you also one of those who likes to get away with whatever they can whenever they can at the cost of others? Think about it, please.

Way to go! What a fantastic story. I once arrived at a triathlon on the wrong day. I went ahead and did the course the next day anyway just to get my frustration out So- I finished with no one else even still in town- but I finished! Thank you for sharing your experience.
